Vista Group Camp is located in Chatham County, 21 miles southwest of Raleigh off of US 64.

Campground Map:

Directions: Address of Vista Point – 2498 N Pea Ridge Rd, Pittsboro, NC 27312

Cost? – $0.00 – the site rental and the food are paid for by GCF. Feel free to make a donation to help offset the cost if you can/would like to. Donations can be left in the offering with a note or given to Evan during the camping trip weekend.

The group sites have plenty of room with ample shade and are located right next to the water. They are close to restrooms and about a 5 minute walk to the bathhouse. Six vehicles are allowed next to each site.  This will be on a first come basis. Others will have to park near the bathhouse (plenty of parking up there). You can pull your cars down to the campsites to unload that way you aren’t trekking all your equipment down the path. We are also near one large field for recreational purposes (i.e. Volleyball).

Food will be provided by GCF and prepared by teams of volunteers. Another email will be sent out separately regarding cleaning/side dish sign-up and a “menu.” You will need to bring your own drinks (and cooler if you want to keep them cold). Also, bring your own tent and sleeping bags.

Please attend any portion of the trip, whether it is the entire weekend or just Sunday service. We still need to get an accurate/final head count, so please RSVP with Evan ASAP.

You can contact Evan directly with any questions or concerns by email (hanes695@gmail.com) or phone (704-280-0561).

Thank you!

God Bless,

The Hanes Fam
